These are the bike details you should collect, to set up your Bikelinc profile:
- Most importantly, locate and record the bike frame serial number, which is usually stamped underneath the bottom bracket of the frame. Other places it could be located are the chain stays, headset or seat tube. Take a photo of the serial number to aid with identification.
- Take photos of the bike from different angles and even including you, all of which will help keep you and your bike/s together.
- You can also make a note of the bike type, brand, model, colour and any other distinguishing features.
- You can collate photos, receipts, details of where you bought the bike and insurance information.
Collecting this information will also help police link a bike to its rightful owner.
