In early July this year, Sharon Paul woke one morning to find two bikes had been stolen from a bike rack in her garage. Luckily she had the serial number for one of them, so listed it on Bikelinc.
A few weeks later, a surprised but kind-hearted member of the public found a bike up a tree in a Quinns Rock park and handed it in to police.
Police could then check the serial number of the bike on Bikelinc, find its rightful owner and return it to Sharon.
So even if your bike isn’t listed on Bikelinc when it’s stolen, it’s never too late to create a profile, add the details and get your bike back.
